Literacy Arcade
Literacy Arcade is a digital, supplemental reading platform for children in grades K–6, including beginning readers, struggling readers, and children with dyslexia. Created by Chelsea Herndon Warner, Ph.D., a literacy specialist, it combines Science of Reading–aligned practice, reading assessments, fluency tools, customizable activities, and guided instructional tools.
Activities support five essential areas of reading—phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension—and are designed for homeschool families, tutors, reading interventionists, and teachers.
Adults can use built-in content or add their own words, sentences, vocabulary, and comprehension details to align practice with a homeschool curriculum, school reading program, tutoring lesson, intervention plan, or the specific skill or text a learner is currently studying. Literacy Arcade is designed to strengthen and supplement existing instruction, not replace a complete core reading curriculum.
*Families who choose Literacy Arcade Plus Family also receive access to a monthly live literacy Q&A, providing parents with ongoing guidance as they support reading instruction at home.
